Sibbald Training is helping individuals develop their construction careers and employers strengthen their workforce through our Modern Apprenticeship programmes.

Combining practical, on-the-job experience with nationally recognised qualifications, Modern Apprenticeships allow people to work, learn and earn while developing the skills and confidence needed to progress.

An apprenticeship could be the next step for someone already in your team. Eligible existing employees can enroll alongside new recruits, giving employers a practical route to developing their workforce.

We offer the following pathways within the SCQF Level 5 Construction: Civil Engineering framework:

• Plant Operations- 

Ride on Roller, Forward Tipping Dumper, Telehandler, 180 Excavator, 360 tracked excavator, 360 wheeled excavator, Agricultural tractor, Dump Truck Articulated Chassis, Telescopic Handler 360 Slew (Roto), Crawler Tractor/Dozer

• General Construction Operations — Concreting & Drainage

• Formwork

• Road Building & Maintenance

For those developing their skills in lifting supervision, we also offer Supervising Lifting Operations within the SCQF Level 7 Construction Technical framework.

Our experienced team supports employers and apprentices from enrolment through to completion, combining relevant training with workplace assessment.

Sibbald Training holds a Skills Development Scotland contract to deliver these programmes. Funding contributions are available subject to eligibility, with an employer contribution required. Our team can explain the options and help identify the most suitable pathway.
