Course Aims
The aim of the Lorry Loader Course is to provide candidates with the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in operating a Lorry Loader to the NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standard.
Course Content
- An Introduction to the Construction Industry
- Current relevant regulations
- Introduction to machine
- Pre – shift inspections
- Controls and instruments
- Components and main types of lorry loaders
- Use of the loader to load and unload the bed of the lorry
- NPORS assessment, which includes Theory & Practical elements.
Test
To achieve the Red NPORS Trained Operator Card candidates must pass the NPORS Theory Test and the Practical Test.
