Potential and existing operators who have received no formal instruction and those requiring refresher training.
The novice course is a 3 day course which includes training and testing. If the candidate is experienced/and or already holds a qualification on this machine, they can attend testing only or a refresher course.
Maximum novices/refreshers: 3 candidates
Maximum experienced workers: 6 candidates
Candidate will gain either a 5-year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2-year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.
Candidates must have passed the CITB Health & Safety Environmental test (within the last 24 months) to gain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This is not required for a Traditional card, although can be added to the card if requested.
This course can be delivered onsite providing the onsite requirements are met.
