Course Aims
This industry leading course will provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate powered access equipment.
This IPAF Operator course with practical training session and assessment covers one powered access product - Static Boom (1b).
Who Attends
Delegates who use, supervise or manage the use of powered access, including scissor lifts, self-propelled boom lifts, trailer mounted boom lifts and aerial work platforms.
Those who need to use two categories of powered access equipment should attend the Dual Category course.

- MEWP regulations and guidance
- Machine types and use
- Structural parts
- Familiarisation and pre-use inspection
- Safe operating methods and hazards
- Written theory test
Practical

This is a 1 day course.
Maximum Candidates
Maximum attendees: 6 candidates
Qualifications Obtained
Delegates successfully completing the course will receive an IPAF Certificate and Powered Access Licence (PAL) Card valid for 5 years.
Entry Requirements
Pre-Requisites: The minimum entry requirement is a good understanding of spoken and written English
