Course Aims
Explain responsibilities under current fire safety legislation, highlighting the standards in the workplace required to comply with this legislation.
Fire Wardens (sometimes known as Fire Marshals) are trained to assist in emergency fire evacuation procedures. It is a legal obligation that workplaces must have enough fire wardens to deal with fire emergencies.
Who Attends
Anyone who is wanting to be trained to assist in emergency fire evacuation procedures.
Course Content
- Assist designated employees in identifying and reducing the risk of fire in the workplace.
- Provide extensive knowledge of fire prevention, evacuation procedures and using fire Extinguishers.
Teaching Methods
Teaching is conducted using video, audio, slides, graphs and descriptive media.
Assessment Methods
Multiple choice assessments are carried out at the end of the course to check theoretical understanding.
Course Duration
This is a Half Day course.

Maximum attendees: 10 Candidates
Qualifications Obtained
Completion Certificates are issued by Sibbald Limited.
