Certificates are typically processed within 28 working days, especially during our busiest periods. For full details on certification processing times, please refer to our Certification Card Times Document.

  • If you booked the course for yourself, the certificate will be sent directly to you.
  • If your employer booked the course on your behalf, the certificate will be sent to them as proof of your course completion and competency.
  • If you or your employer have booked this through a third-party training provider this will be sent to them as proof of your course completion and competency.

Once you book a course, you will receive a confirmation email containing your start and finish times, along with your joining instructions. These instructions contain essential details, so please review them carefully before attending.

If you haven’t received your joining instructions:

  • If your employer booked the course, please check with them first.
  • If you still haven’t received them, contact our office at 01501 750900 for assistance.

Yes! We offer:

  • Blackridge Training Centre – 150 free parking spaces, including 15 EV charging points.
  • Laurencekirk Venue – Ample free parking available.

Yes, we have a cafe offering hot and cold food, as well as snacks and drinks available for purchase at our Blackridge facility. Most courses at our Blackridge facility will include a prepaid lunch as part of your booking. If you are unsure if you will receive lunch with your course please contact us on 01501 750900.

Please notify us in advance if you have any allergies/dietary requirements. 

Yes, we understand that plans can change. Our Training Advisors are here to help. The sooner you notify us, the better—but please note that cancellation or rescheduling may incur fees depending on the timing and nature of the request.

VQs with Practical elements (Plant Operations/Slinger/Craft VQs) must be completed at your live work site where an observation will be carried out to demonstrate your competency. 

The only VQs we can complete remotely or at our centre are Lift Supervisor or Crane Appointed person, this is due to the performance criteria being met by evidence gathering such as lift plans and supporting documentation from previously carried out lifting operations.

Yes. Many courses can be delivered on customer premises if facilities meet the awarding body requirements. Please contact us to discuss site suitability. 

Yes. We provide a mix of classroom, practical and online learning options, depending on the course. 

Our instructors will provide feedback and guidance. In most cases, resist or re-assessments can be arranged. 

Business customers can apply for a credit account (subject to checks). Individual learners are asked to pay online at the time of booking.

Some courses may be eligible for industry funding support (such as CITB grants). Our training advisors can guide you through available options at the time of booking.

Yes. We have disabled parking bays and our training centres are wheelchair accessible, we will work with learners to provide additional support where required. 

Yes. Our training is accredited by leading awarding bodies (such as CITB, CPCS, NPORS, NOCN, IPAF and PASMA) and recognised across the industry.
