City & Guilds Confined Spaces Training Update

City & Guilds Confined Space Training Update

City & Guilds have revised their suite of confined space qualifications following the revision last year of the National Occupational Standards for confined spaces.

The new City & Guilds qualifications will be delivered from the 1st of January 2022 and reflect the changes made in the NOS. The key changes around the existing City & Guilds medium risk in water course offered at Sibbald Training are listed below:

- There are no longer separate qualifications for the water industry, these have been combined with other industry sectors into a universal set of qualifications based on the job roles identified in the NOS

- The existing Medium Risk Confined Space 2-day training no longer covers the role of the entry controller/Top person

- A new 3-day course is offered for the entry controller/Top Person (6160-04 City & Guilds Control Entry & Arrangements for Confined Space) To view our 2022 Confined Space availability click here

If you are interested in attending the 3-day course for the entry controller/Top Person (6160-04 City & Guilds Control Entry & Arrangements for Confined Space), please contact us at enquiries@sibbaldtraining.com for more information.
