Vocational Qualifications are designed to allow you to demonstrate your skills following your initial training. They are assessed in your workplace environment by an occupationally competent assessor and provide an effective way to progress your career and qualification by demonstrating competence against a set of performance objectives.

The candidate will be assessed to ensure they are capable of applying key practical skills and knowledge in the chosen skilled trade. This assessment is designed to qualify experienced skilled workers, those who currently work in the construction trade or those that are looking to re-enter their trade after a period of absence.
Course Duration
Approximately 2-3 site visits are required for this VQ.
Qualifications Obtained
On successful completion of the qualification a level III S/NVQ will be awarded in Carpentry/Joinery. This award enables the candidate to apply for the CSCS Gold Skilled worker Card.

Entry Requirements
Candidates must hold a Level 2 VQ in Carpentry/Joinery and be experienced in Carpentry/Joinery to progress through the Level 3 VQ.

£176.85 (VAT exempt) registration and certificate fee
