“PULL THE PIN” on Cable Explosions!

Lack on cable awareness & safety has been linked to the recent cable strikes resulting in injury or fatalities in the last few years.

Caledonia Water Alliance & Mackenzie Construction joined forces to create a safety event called “PULL THE PIN” which took place on the 25th & 26th September 2018.The event was run over 2 days with 3 sessions per day. All employees & subcontractors were invited to the presentation and also got to witness a controlled explosion to show the catastrophic effects of a cable strike incident.

The event went “off with a bang” and had a success rate with over 650 attendees which took place at Sibbald Park in Blackridge.
