This course is designed to train and assess operators in the safe operation of a counterbalance lift truck.
Those attending will gain insight and knowledge on the safe use of Rider-operated Lift Trucks.
By the end of the course, candidates will be able to identify main components of the Lift Truck, operate the machine safely to a high standard in the working environment and understand current Legislation.
Experienced operators who have been using the forklift on a regular basis (minimum of 6 months continued use) and have therefore a good working knowledge of the machine but have never had any formal training or certification. This is also used by candidates who have been trained previously but are unable to provide evidence of this training and for any candidate who was trained and holds a non-UK certificate. Candidates will be required to undergo an Instructor Assessment and fill in our Assessment Questionnaire to ensure they quality for the Experienced but Untrained course. If an instructor deems the candidate does not have the necessary experience they may be referred for a novice course and will be unable to continue.

Teaching Methods
Teaching is carried out both in a classroom environment teaching theory and within a simulated working environment with candidates using the plant machinery and practically applying the theory.
Assessment Methods
RTITB Theory & Practical Testing takes place on the last day of the course.
This is a 3 Day course which includes training and testing.
Maximum attendees: 3 Candidates.
RTITB B1 Licence. We also can offer other ABA codes at your premises.
