Course Aims
This course is designed to train and assess operators in the safe operation of a counterbalance lift truck.
Who Attends
Refresher courses are for candidates who have already been trained on the machine (in this case a counterbalance) and have proof of training (i.e. a certificate). They still qualify for refresher courses even if their current certification is out of date, providing they have been using the machine on a regular basis.
Course Content
• The hazards associated with lift truck operations
• The precautions to be taken
• Up to date knowledge of current Legislation
Teaching Methods
Teaching is carried out both in a classroom environment teaching theory and within a simulated working environment with candidates using the plant machinery and practically applying the theory.
Assessment Methods
RTITB Theory & Practical Testing takes place on the last day of the course.

This is a 1 Day course.
Maximum Candidates
Maximum attendees: 3 Candidates.
Qualifications Obtained
RTITB B1 Licence. We also can offer other ABA codes at your premises.
