This course outlines current legislation, regulations and guidance affecting work at height using mobile access towers.

Who Attends

This course is designed for those who have responsibility for overseeing the work of operatives on site ensuring that work is properly planned and organised.


It establishes that those involved in carrying out the work are competent and properly trained, and that towers are correctly inspected and maintained.
 
It would be envisaged that you will have a good working knowledge of the Work at Height Regulations and Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

  • Reference to current instruction manuals incorporating current best practice for fall protection
  • Fault-finding exercise
  • Group case studies
  • Completion of Tower Inspection Records
  • Hazards affecting the use of mobile access towers
  • Risk assessment
  • Emergency & rescue plans
  • Behavioural competencies
  • Theoretical assessment

Qualifications Obtained

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive PASMA Certification and ID Card valid for 5 years.

Entry Requirements

Pre-Requisites:  The minimum entry requirement is a good understanding of spoken and written English
