Back in 1973, our company founder David Sibbald, an excavator owner-operator saw a space in the market, hiring out plant machinery to the construction industry.  Sibbald Plant Hire prospered and grew over the years until in 1988, David expanded the business into the construction industry training space, training plant operators for the new CTA scheme. The astronomical success of Sibbald Training has seen the company grow year-on-year adding forklift training for the warehouse and logistics industry, health and safety and management training and picking up a host of accreditations along the way to becoming one of the UK’s leading training and assessment solutions providers.

Training and Assessment Solutions

Today, the company partners with training managers and companies of all sizes to offer a complete training and assessment solution. Making the life of training managers easier by managing everything from initial basic staff and operator training, through advanced, nationally recognised qualifications and operator licensing and renewals, to ISO certified management training.
