The aim of the Rough Terrain Forklift Truck Course is to provide candidates with the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in operating a Rough Terrain Forklift to the NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standard.

All candidates will be trained and tested by one of Sibbald's fully accredited, expert instructors.

Training and assessments can take place either at our purpose built training facility in Blackridge, West Lothian or on your site.

The duration of the course depends on the number of candidates and the experience of each candidate, in general our courses consist of 4 days training and assessment, which includes Theory & Practical elements, this is based on 3 candidates with little or no experience, with 2 machines and 1 instructor.

On successful completion of the NPORS assessment candidates will be issued with an NPORS Operators card.

It is our recommendation that all personnel required to operate a Rough Terrain Forklift Truck complete this training and testing.
