Soil & Landfill Compactors

The aim of the Soil and Landfill Compactors Course is to provide candidates with the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in operating a Soil or Landfill Compactor to the NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standard. 

All candidates will be trained and tested by one of Sibbald's fully accredited, expert instructors.

Training and assessments can take place on your own working site.

The duration of the course depends on the number of candidates and the experience of each candidate, in general our courses consist of 3 days training and assessment, which includes Theory & Practical elements, this is based on 4 candidates with little or no experience, with 2 machines and 1 instructor.

On successful completion of the NPORS assessment candidates will be issued with an NPORS Operators card.

It is our recommendation that all personnel required to operate a Soil or Landfill Compactor complete this training and testing.
