The aim of the Signing Lighting and Guarding (Supervisor) Course is to enable the candidates to be aware of the procedures and legal requirements when Signing and Guarding excavation works on the Highway.
All candidates will be trained and tested by one of Sibbald's fully accredited, expert instructors.
Training and assessments can take place either at our purpose built training facility in Blackridge, West Lothian or on your site.
The duration of the course is 1 day . On successful completion of the course canidates will be issued with a Scottish Qualifications Authority ( SQA ) Certificate - Unit 10 Monitoring Signing, Lighting and Guarding.
It is our recommendation that all Supervisors who are responsible for their operatives in setting up safe road works, before and during excavation work. attend this course.
