The Aim of the Manual Handling For Operatives Course is to provide the candidate with the knowledge and various practical skills involved in manual handling.
All candidates will be trained and tested by one of Sibbald's fully accredited, expert instructors.
Training can take place either at our purpose built training facility in Blackridge, West Lothian or on your site.
The duration of the course is between ½ - 1 day training, depending on experience. Theory & Practical elements will be covered in this time.
On successful completion of this course candidates will be issued with a Sibbald accreditied ID Card, which is valid for 3 years.
It is our recommendation that all personnel who are at risk of injury through carrying out manual handling tasks as part of their work duties complete this course.
