Slinger Signaller
CPCS Training
Book Online
The aim of the Slinger Signaller Course is to provide candidates with the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in slinging loads and guiding cranes to the CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) standard.
All candidates will be trained and tested by one of Sibbald's fully accredited, expert instructors.
Traiing can take place at either our purpose built training facility in Blackridge, West Lothian or on your site.
The duration of the course depends on the number of candidates and the experience of each candidate, in general our courses consist of 3 days training with an additional day for practical testing, this is based on 4 candidates with little or no experience, with 1 crane and 1 instructor.
On successful completion of both the Theory & Practical Elements of the Technical Test, which must be undertaken at our registered test centre, candidates will be issued with a CPCS Red Trained Operators Card, before these can take place candidates must have passed the CSCS Operatives Health & Safety Test within the 2 year period before the CPCS Test.
It is our recommendation that all personnel required to carry out the duties of a Slinger Signaller complete this training and testing.
