Sibbald raises cash for The Lighthouse Club
David Sibbald, Managing Director of Sibbald Limited would like to thank everyone who attended and participated in the various competitions Sibbald were hosting at Scotplant 2008 and Ireland's Balmoral Show to raise funds for The Lighthouse Club, the Construction Industry charity.
This charity is known, recognized and regarded with respect and affection throughout every branch of the construction industry as it provides support for construction workers and their families who suffer accident or ill health.
Sibbald Ltd raised £2,100 at the Scotplant event with 3 competitions; an adult's competition on a 180o Backhoe Excavator, a child's competition on a 360o Mini Excavator and also a Tombola.
The 3-day Balmoral Show raised an amazing £3,050 through a Tombola and a children's competition on a 360o Mini Excavator. Winners of the Excavator competition were; Oisin Campbell from Co. Tyrone, Danny Mullan from Co. Down and Cooper Gamble from Co.Antrim. A cheque will be presented to The Lighthouse Club in the very near future.
