To assist site management and supervisory personnel to:
- Manage health and safety on site in accordance with the current legal provisions and within the context of their management or supervisory role
- Develop an understanding of their responsibilities and accountability for site health, safety and welfare
- Recognise that a safe site is efficient, economical and productive

- An introduction to health & safety management
- Managing Health & Safety at Work
- Responsibilities of managers and supervisors
- Measuring, monitoring and auditing health and safety performance
- Provision of information and training
- The control of hazards and risk

- Candidates will participate in theory lessons and practical exercises all of which are highlighted by the use of OHP & Videos, covering the following,

Course Duration
5 days block release
or
5 days at 1 day per week
Certification
CITB - Site Safety Managers Certificate
Eligible companies are able to claim grants for this training, which will pay for a substantial amount if not all of the training costs, as this course is CITB approved for grant purposes.
