The Aim of the Safety Passport - Operative, Nationally Accredited CCNSG Course is to:

To ensure that all personnel, after appropriate site introduction, work on site more safely and with lower risk to themselves and others.

Course Duration

2 days - Operatives Course

 The Objectives of the Course are to enable delegates to:

  • To ensure that all personnel seeking employment with a Contractor on a site controlled by a participating Client shall have a basic knowledge of health and safety.
  • Have an understanding of responsibilities under Health and Safety at Work Act 1974  & other current relevant legislation.

Who Must Attend The Course?

All Client Contractors employees.

Candidates will participate in theory lessons and practical exercises all of which are highlighted by the use of OHP & Videos covering;

  • Main Requirements of Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 etc
  • Safe Working Practices & Scaffolding
  • Safe Access & Egress
  • Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Fire Precautions & Procedures
  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health & Personal Protective Equipment
  • Manual Handling
  • Noise
  • Working with cranes and Heavy Equipment
  • Excavations

Certification

Client Contractor National Safety Group - Safety Passport.

Eligible companies are able to claim grants for this training, which will pay for a substantial amount if not all of the training costs, as this course is CITB approved for grant purposes.
